When you walk into the Jiangnan Orchard in Lingjiang Township,you can see many pears hanging on the branches and smell the fresh fragrance of pears.The fruit farmers are weeding,all with joyful expressions.
Peng Zhongde is the owner of a family farm in the town of Lingjiang,the Cuiguan Pears planted by him have large flesh and thin skin,the average weight of each pear is about 230g or so,the largest can reach 400g.Peng Zhongde said:"This year,the Cuiguan Pear ripening period is early July to late August,the output is expected to be more than 300 tons,you are welcome to buy."
This year,the town of Lingjiang planted pear 7500 acres,the expected annual output is more than 13,000 tons,the main varieties of Cangxi Snow Pear,Cuiguan Pear,Golden Pear,etc.,there are 2 leading enterprises cultivated in Cangxi Pear industry development in this town,25 professional cooperatives,158 family farms,4 fruit wholesale marketing markets,78 refrigerated preservation fresh storages,with a capacity of 2,000 tons.
