Ma Xiaowei, Director of the National Health Commission of China, pointed out that China’s experience in fighting the pandemic was focused on eight aspects: A unified and efficient command system; legal, scientific and precise prevention and control strategies; prevention and control mode going deep into the grassroots; overall allocation of medical resources; close cooperation to improve treatment ability; extensive use of high and new technology; focus on a people specific anti-epidemic approach; and in-depth international exchanges and cooperation. China’s prevention and control strategies, methods, technologies, standards and cases have undergone practical tests and the country is willing to share them with other nations to help maintain global health and safety.
